Thankful Thursday #12

~ I am so thankful for summer vacation. Let the laziness begin!!

~ I am so thankful for friends and family and lots of love in my life.

~ I am so thankful for new seasons of Top Chef, Kathy Griffin and Real Housewives of NY reruns.

~ I am so thankful for my husband. I love that guy.

~ I am so thankful for doctors named Pasquale and nurses named Marie.

Thankful Thursday #11

I apologize for my absence.. It has been a weird, weird few weeks. I shall make up for my lack of posting by doing a double dose of Thankful Thursday. I know I've said it before, but I will be back with regular posts. Honest!!!

~I am so thankful there are only 10 days left of school. 10 days!!!

~I am so thankful for wonderful family who are there for each other at all the right times.

~I am thankful for my brother, who surprised us all by being able to hold it together all week.

~I am thankful for my sister, who says totally inappropriate things and totally inappropriate times.

~I am thankful for the guy in the lane next to my on I95 who was driving and brushing his teeth at the same time. I'm still trying to figure out where he spit the toothpaste.

~I am so thankful that my health insurance is so much better than I would have expected.

~I am so thankful for my furry babies and their ability to make me smile and just so happy, no matter what.

~I am so thankful for my husband. He's a good, good guy.

~I am thankful that I'm not the only one getting annoyed with Glee.

~I am thankful for hope. All kinds of hope.

~I am thankful for a friend who is planning what I am sure is going to be a great birthday evening.

~I am thankful for birthday lunch at The Cheesecake Factory with my family.

~I am thankful for only 21 days left of school.

~I am thankful for this weekend.

Thankful Thursday #9

~I'm thankful for the wonderful walk I just took, just me and my babies. The weather was beautiful, and everything felt right in the world for that 45 minutes.

~I'm thankful for the Cold Stone cake I ordered for Mother's Day. They have the best ice cream cakes.

~I'm thankful the chiropractor was able to squeeze me in on Saturday cause my neck is hurting something awful. Really, that guy'll do anything for a buck.

~I'm thankful for wonderful, supportive friends.

~I'm thankful that this week went by quickly and I hope next week does the same.

~I'm thankful for hope. All kinds of hope.

Thankful Thursday #8

~I am so thankful for sick days.

~I am so thankful for feeling so relaxed and refreshed after taking not one, but two of these sick days.

~I am so thankful that in the numerous times Penny has snatched a pen off of a table and chewed it into a million pieces, the ink has managed to stay inside of the tube and not on my beige carpet.

~I am so thankful for the Dog Whisperer and his confidence that we are on the right track with the pen eating dog.

~I am so thankful for second opinions, the doctor named Pasquale, the doctor named Ryan who's in the wheelchair and the tall doctor who is way too perky at 7:30am.

~I am thankful for hope. All kinds of hope.

I am so thankful for an unexpected phone call from a wonderful friend.

I am so thankful for beautiful, sunny weather.

I am so thankful for my wonderfully supportive mother, father and sister.

I am so thankful for my very understanding husband.

I am so thankful tomorrow is Friday.

Thankful Thursday #3

*I bought two super cute shirts at Target on Friday. I went to put on one of the shirts Monday and it didn't fit. Not happy. I had already taken the tags off! I tossed the receipt! I tried my luck and went to exchange them today, with no high hopes. Ta-da! They did the exchange, no problem! I now have two super cute shirts that fit. I am thankful for Target.

*I love the Olympics, I really do. But I am so glad that my shows came back this week. Thursday night on NBC just wasn't the same when it was skiing.

*Our Dog Whisperer is coming to the house in less than a week. I am so thankful that we will be getting into a routine with him.

*I am thankful for my health and for my husband's. Health and happiness.

*I am thankful for doctors named Pasquale. More than that, I love that I am seeing a doctor named Pasquale and my husband thought he was Israeli.

Thankful Thursday #2

~I am thankful for 4C no calorie ice tea packets to put in my water.

~I am thankful for cooking a meal from scratch, for the first time, having it turn out awesome, and having my husband tell me how good it was.

~I am thankful for nights and weekends with nothing to do but curl up on the couch.

~I am thankful for potential snow days.

~I am thankful for Facebook's ability to reunite me with people I knew 25 years ago. Literally.

~I am thankful for hope. All kinds of hope.

Thankful Thursday #1

One of the other blogs I read, "Oh, Mishka", the writer does a thing called "Thankful Thursday". Things she is thankful for that day, or week, or just in life in general. What an excellent idea. So I am going to try my best to follow suit and do a Thankful Thursday of my own. Here goes.

*I am thankful that we got out of school early today on account of open house at school tonight. The weather was so beautiful. I took the dogs for a huge walk. I actually could feel the warmth of the sun on my skin.

*I am thankful that tonight at open house I am not in a position where I need to talk to very many parents. That might sound bad, but its true.

*I am thankful that every week Penny makes amazing improvements at puppy class. Girl's got potential.

*I am thankful for my big Rex. Lordy I love that mutt.

*I am thankful for a great Valentine's day and an even greater Valentine.
